Tuesday March 27th - Andrew Halstead BENEFICIAL INSECTS IN YOUR GARDEN

Andrew was the Principal Ecologist at the Royal Horticultural Society. This will be a fascinating look at insects and other invertebrates that are useful as pollinators, predators or parasites, and their use as biological controls for greenhouse and garden pests..

Saturday April 7th - Badger Ecology Workshop & Field Trip

A classroom session at Wanborough Hall about ecology, field signs, rescues and other badger work; after lunch a visit to a local sett. Booking is essential, by email or phone, as numbers are limited. Start 10am, finish between 3 and 4pm. Bring a packed lunch.

Tuesday April 24th - Dr Elaine King WILDLIFE & COUNTRYSIDE LINK

Dr Elaine King is CEO of Wildlife and Countryside Link, which represents 29 national conservation and animal welfare groups including WWF, RSPB and Badger Trust. Link works closely with the government and advises on varied wildlife issues, one of which is what will happen to our wildlife laws when Brexit arrives.

Tuesday May 22nd - Annual General Meeting AGM 7.30pm

This will be our usual short AGM to go through our formal business matters. Then we shall have refreshments and a presentation. PLEASE NOTE EARLIER STARTING TIME

Meeting Venue

All evening meetings start at 8pm and are held in Wanborough Hall unless otherwise stated.

This is just off the A31 Hogs Back.

Take the B3000 exit (from Guildford it's the first exit) and follow signs to Wanborough.

At the bottom of the hill turn right (signposted Great Barn and Church).

The car park is on the left next to the Barn.

Walk up to the hall, just beyond the church.
